Wednesday's Homework: 1/11/17

Please read the following article and on page 58 Standard/48 Honors take 10-15 key points (no graphic organizer).  On page 59 Standard/49 Honors, answer the following questions:

1. What is the law about? Explain.
2. Do you think that police officers can exercise the law without “racial profiling”?  Why or why not? Defend your position.
3. If the Federal government fails to do its job in terms of keeping illegal (I prefer the word “undocumented”) immigrants out of this nation, should states have the right to “fix” this problem? Why or why not? Defend your position.
