Please read the following article and on page 60 Standard/50 Honors take 10-15 key points (no graphic organizer).  On page 61 Standard/51 Honors, answer the following questions:

1. Who should select the books that students read: Teachers, School Administrators, or Politicians?  A combination of any? Explain.
2. Is it fair to compare what has taken place with the Nazi Book Burnings of 1933? How is it similar (if similar)? How is it different (if different)?  Explain.
3. Why do you think that Arizona has banned these books? Explain.
