Ethnic Studies

  When you are looking for evidence from the required readings, you will not find arguments in defense or against ethnic studies (you will find those when we do suggested readings and your own research-future steps).  What you will find is what some folks would call a more "honest" history of the ethnic group that you are covering (or a bias anti-American propaganda).   If your argument is that students need to be exposed to these "truths", what evidence (quotes/paraphrases) should they be exposed to?

P.S. You can argue that ethnic studies would do more harm than good and use the evidence as to why it would do more harm (i.e. brainwash, excite but not educate, etc...)
