Monday's Homework: Monday, October 26th.

ALL JURY MEMBERS:


THERE IS A NOTEBOOK CHECK TOMORROW! Mr. Pitts-Dilley and Mr. Spargo will be collecting all JURY notebooks tomorrow in the science auditorium.

Standard Class:


  1. Work on your final draft of your term paper, which is due by Thursday by 11:59PM on Turnitin.com
  2. Work on your mock trial: The Google Doc is due by 8PM
  3. Make sure to read the Forgotten Fire and/or refresh your memory by Friday as we will have a discussion on both "alleged" genocides (Armenian and Native Peoples of the Americas)
  4. Read pages 46 to 48 of the Textbook
  1. on page 58 of the NB take 10 to 15 key points or use the GRAPHIC ORGANIZER
  2. No Summary Or Reflection (if you finish early, you can work on your term paper)

Honors Class:



  1. Work on your mock trial: The Google Doc is due by 8PM
  2. Lies My Teacher Told Me Special Assignment: This reading is to help prepare honors students for the Mock Trial, but on page 46 of the notebook. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE by tomorrow (Tuesday).
  1. What were the most disturbing things that you learned from this chapter?  Please provide evidence and explain why you believe that we still celebrate Columbus’ Discovery of the Americas.  This should be between 1 and 2 pages.    
3. Read pages 46 to 48 of the Textbook
  1. 9 to 15 Key Points OR THIS GRAPHIC ORGANIZER on page 49 of the notebook
  1. No Summary Or Reflection (if you finish early, you can work on the Lies My Teacher Told Me Assignment)
