Wednesday’s Homework: 10/8/14


9th Grade U.S. & World History Standard

1. I will post the study guide for Friday’s exam later on today.

9th Grade U.S. & World History Honors:

No Homework. 
12th Grade We & They:  



1. The first draft will be due by tonight (10/8/14) by 11:59PM
2. The second peer editing will start on Thursday morning (5AM) and it will be due by Sunday 10/12/14 by 11:59PM (I am going to ask for 3 peer edits only).
3. The final draft will be due on Thursday, October 16th by 11:59PM

IF YOU HAVEN’T UPLOAD YOUR FIRST DRAFT YET:

1. Write as much as you can.. the more you write, the more feedback you will get!
2. Make sure to make use of internal citations and a works cited page.
3. Use a lot of evidence from ZInn’s “The Bomb”
4. Use a lot of evidence (but not as much as The Bomb) from other assigned readings.
5. Use a lot of evidence from the following 5 websites (not as much as The Bomb)

Many of you (rightly so) have asked for sources that argue that the nuclear weapons over Japan and the War on Terror were necessary. Therefore, I am giving you a feel resources on this as well as a criticism on Howard Zinn himself and his way of teaching about American and World History
