9th Grade U.S. & World History Standard

Finish the classwork:

#1. Read and annotate this document.

#2. Take 18 to 25 key points on page 36 of the notebook (DO NOW QUIZ ON Wednesday).

#3. On page 37 of the notebook, answer the following question (2 to 3 paragraphs): Has “something gone very wrong”? Why? What can we do to fix it? Explain. 

9th Grade U.S. & World History Honors:

Finish the classwork:

#1. Read and annotate this introduction to “Lies My Teacher Told Me”.  The honors students will have a writing prompt as an exam, based on this work and connecting it to Howard Zinn and his work on Friday, October 10^th.  

#2. Take 18 to 25 key points on page 30 of the notebook (DO NOW QUIZ ON Wednesday).

#3 On page 31 of the notebook, answer the following question (2 to 3 paragraphs): Has “something gone very wrong”? Why? What can we do to fix it? Explain. 

#4. Post at least one question that you have about the reading or major concepts on turnitin.com by TONIGHT by 11:59PM (THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL).

#5. The 3rd and final evidence sheet is due tomorrow by the beginning of class)

12th Grade We & They:  

1. The first draft will be due by tomorrow (10/8/14) by 11:59PM

2. The second peer editing will start on Thursday morning (5AM) and it will be due by Sunday 10/12/14 by 11:59PM (I am going to ask for 3 peer edits only).

3. The final draft will be due on Thursday, October 16^th by 11:59PM.
