PERIODS 1, 4 & 5:
Pretend that you were at the First Thanksgiving. Using at least one fact from the Primary Sources in your handout (handout #12), one clue from a painting that you saw, and one thing that you make up (historical fiction), write to someone who wasn’t there. How would you describe what happened that day? What photos would you take for social media? You will be assigned a role: Child, man or woman, either native or white. Write 2-3 paragraphs for the First Thanksgiving Activity on PAGE 22 of the notebook (groups are available online).
