Research Paper & Book Project (Tuesday's Homework: 5/29/19)

Hi folks,

  Tonight is the deadline for both assignments (Tuesday by 11:59PM)

RESEARCH PAPER STUDENTS:

Work on your final drafts (MAKE SURE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU WILL TURN A GOOD TO
GRADE PRODUCT ON TIME!  50% of your final exam grade)

4-6 pages 12 Times New Roman, Double Space

Must have in addition (does not count towards the page length requirement):

1. Cover Page(with your name, no more peer edits no more steps, I will grade based on the rubric provided)

2. Actual paper (must have internal citations): 4-6 pages (not including the cover page and works cited page)

12 Times New Roman, Double Space

3. Works Cited Page (MLA format)

4. Cheating results in a 0 for term 4 and 0 for ½ of the final exam (term 5)

Missing Penalties:

. Cover Pages that have not been modified -5

. Missing Cover Pages -10

. Less than minimum requirement: it varies

. Not 12 Times New Roman and Doubled Space: -5

. Missing Internal citations and/or Works Cited Page: Varies: This would be a big problem

. Cheating (plagiarism) results in a 0 for term 4 and 0 for ½ of the final exam (term 5)

BOOK PROJECT STUDENTS:

Today is the deadline to add anywork via the Google Docs.  I am still worried about 2 of the groups, but at this point it is what it is.  You will be given self-evaluation sheets on Thursday. On Tuesday, I will be meeting with the Writer's Room to see what the next steps are.
