Monday's Classwork, Homework & End of the Term Dates: 4/4/16

HOMEWORK:

I am worried about many of you. Having the ability of only writing ONE (1) research paper should make your lives easier, but many people either owe steps or have been turning low quality steps. I expect AMAZING final drafts that clearly show that you have not just used the required sources, but that you have also identified the best supporting evidence and that you have taken advantage of the suggested sources and that you have done a great job (strong evidence of reliable sources) of your own research. I have often written as feedback in poor research papers in the past, things such as: "in this point that you are trying to make, you should have you 'this' suggested reading". So please work hard and make sure to turn in your 12 quotes and or paraphrases (they can all be from history if you want...it actually makes more sense to do so) on turnitin.com by 11:59PM tonight (and turn in late steps).

CLASSWORK EXPECTATIONS: If you are already done with the graphic organizer, please put your work on turnitin.com and then work on future steps or make up previously missed steps:

Step 7: 3rd Graphic Organizer (at least 6 additional entries using either the quote OR paraphrasing graphic organizer from credible online sources from your own individual research).     Due by Monday, April 11th on turnitin.com (by 11:59PM)
Step 8: Works Cited Page & Title Page: Due on Wednesday, April 13th in class (hardcopy and in class)

Step 9: Rough Draft: It must be uploaded on TURNITIN.COM by Sunday, April 17th by 11:59PM.

P.S. Step 10 will be due during vacation (peer edits) and the final step (final draft) is due by Sunday, May 1st (2016) on turnitin.com by 11:59PM.

P.S.2. Sample Research Paper from 2012
