Tuesday's Homework: 10/28/14

9th Grade U.S. & World History Standard:

1. Read your reviews on turnitin.com (I fixed the problem)
2. The final draft is due by Thursday by 11:59PM
3. Read the Columbus diaries from Friday, October 13th, Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th of 1492.  On page 54 of the NB make the diagram and find 5 quotes with charges and explanations to defend or prosecute Columbus.

1.Please read the following (CLICK HERE FOR THE READING) and on a separate sheet of paper, which I will return so you can put on page 28 of the notebook (if I haven’t taken your notebook), please write it directly on the notebook, answer the following questions:


1.     What surprised you the most about this story/biography?
2.     Based on what you know about American history, how would her life have been different if she were a poor single black mother of three in Boston in the 1960’s? 
3.     What about if she were a poor black American single mother of three in Mississippi in the 1960’s? 
4.     Are there any questions that you have for Mr. PPD?
