Thursday's Homework: 10/23/14

9th Grade U.S. & World History Standard:

1. The Standard Class must do 4 peer edits (if Turnitin asks for 5, the 5th is extra-credit).  The feedback is due tonight by 11:59PM and make sure to write at least 3 comments on each paper and answer every question (pay attention the the minimum length of words for each question).

2. There will be a notebook check tomorrow.  Please prepare for success and make up any missing work!

3. Read pages 42 to 44 (STOP @ CONQUESTS IN SOUTH AMERICA) of the TEXTBOOK

a.  12 to 18 Key Points OR THIS GRAPHIC ORGANIZER on page 48 of the NB.

b. Summary OR Reflection on page 49 of the NB.

Read chapter 2 of HPIE:

What can the United States learn from India and India learn from the United States?  YOU MUST USE AT LEAST ONE QUOTE FOR EACH OF THE 4 SHORT READINGS!
